Random Photo of my loves!

(Mommy, Natalia, and Alina)

I really like stuff. Collecting stuff regardless of whether I need it or not. I guess you could consider me a pack rat or a hoarder. I don’t like throwing things away. I have started donating clothes that I know I will never ever fit again, but when it comes to collectibles, I am all about it. I once told a friend that I wanted to start a cool collection, like pencils, or comic books. Haha, I didn’t realize until just now that I already have a collection. Lots of little knick knacks that I could do without and that drive Ry crazy. I wanted to make a list. I love lists!

  1. Keychains
  2. Bikinis
  3. Underwear
  4. Handbags
  5. Hello Kitty
  6. Shoes
  7. Glass/stone animal figurines
  8. Books
  9. Photos
  10. Letters/Papers
  11. Dogs….lol JK. I don’t collect them, I just have them! ๐Ÿ™‚

(Me w/ my nieces!)

Great Weekend!

Wow what a great weekend.

Friday, took my niece and nephew (and their mom) to see Despicable Me. “It’s so fluffy!!!!!” OMG, I loved the movie more than the kids and I laughed twice as hard. I understand the adult humor that kids do not (some adults did not either) and am not ashamed to laugh out LOUD. After we saw the movie, we went to Bistro B in Garland. It is an Asian restaurant with a variety of foods. I got some Special Fried Rice. MMMM good! I need to Perfect my fried rice skills.

Saturday was an awesome day with Ry…..We woke up and we went shopping. I got my Recipe box, a new pastry brush, a cake decorating kit, and a Mallet to beat my chicken! Ry got some new swim trunks too! After the mall, we went to the fish store. Ry also got some heli parts for his copter earlier. At the fish store, we wanted to get a Flame Angel, but it was 60 Dollars. Trey said we could get a discount if I wore my bathing suit in, but oh well. We got a baby Nemo instead. His name is Nemesis and he is not yet friends with Black Panther (black Nemo). He is so cute though. And very tiny. We brought him home to his new tank and he is swimming around. When we got home, we fed the pups and then got ready to go to Tori and Dorey’s. When we got there, we went to the batting cages and hit some Balls. It was fun. But Hot! We decided to we were ready to jump in the pool so we drove back to the apartment and then jumped in the water. It felt super! And we had the pool to ourselves which was great. We swam until 10 and then went back up to dry off and hang out. I enjoyed being with my hubby and our friends!

Sunday, we decided to take Thor to the Doggie Park. He had fun. It was hot though. I don’t think he appreciated that, but he made lots of friends. Yay! We will definitely be hitting it up again. Great weekend, I have to say!

Night Night!!

I sCream for ICE CREAM!!

I got my ice cream maker from William-Sonoma today! That store is flippin Awesome! Will be making Ice Cream now. Post back shortly!

Ok…So I bought the ice cream maker today hoping that I could make some cookies and cream ice cream TODAY! We went to get all of the supplies needed. When we got home I read the instructions and whipped out a recipe for ice cream. The instructions said I needed to freeze the ice cream container…but that it could take up to a day…BOO! I started making the base anyway hoping that I would be able to piece it together, but when I finished with the base, I had to stick it in the fridge for it to cool down. So now I wait until tomorrow when my container is frozen and my base is cool. This ice cream had better be flippin delicious!!!! Can’t wait to try it! Will post pics soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

Cookies and Cream ice cream! So Delish!!!

I l0VE Lists!

As the days go by, I feel I am becoming more and more domesticated…and Ry is too! He is starting to cook more and I am starting to bake more! We are growing up and acting more like grown ups. I am finally beginning to feel like an adult. I am married and playing house…Cooking, Cleaning (Ry does more of both), obviously working ( but I’ve been doing that since I was 15), and of course paying bills (been doing that for awhile too), but those are not the reasons why I feel like a grown up (being a mother to 4 pups as well!!). I feel more grown up because I see all of my little cousins and friends all grown up! I believe that I am and will always be a kid at heart…Ry too, but seeing everyone growing up sucks because that means that I am OLD! And I know I am not! At least not yet!ย  We barely like to leave the house now unless it is to take Thor to PetSmart. We have become such hermits. I don’t mind sO much, but it does make me feel like an old married HAG. In addition, I am going to list some things that I want really really BAD! Things only a domesticated wife would want! These will hopefully get to me by Christmas. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I feel like such a dork, but I’ll list them anyway!

  • Cupcake Apron (They are soooo CUTE!) (below from ‘dotsdiner’ on etsy) bought a cute one from the mall on 8/7/10

  • Cookie Jar (I want to start a collection) got my first 2 from Ry for our 1 year anniversary!!

  • Ice Cream Maker (no need to say anything more!) bought on 7/20/10

  • Sewing Machine ( I want to be able to sew the holes in my pants so the boys at work can’t laugh at me behind my back!)
  • Deep Fryer (yum! Fried Chicken!)
  • Gravy Boat got a green one for $1 at a shop in downtown st. charles, mo.
  • Butter Dish
  • Piping Bag and accessoriesย bought on 7/24/10
  • Grill Pan bought on 8/7/10
  • Cupcake Carrier
  • Over-the-knee boots

I will continue to add things to this list. That way when the holidays come around and Ry and family ask what I want, I can point them here! woot woot!

I want to be able to cook, clean, sew, and work! I want to be able to do lots of things, but those are domesticated enough for now.

Happy 4th of July

Wow! It has been a long time since I have been on here. The last time I was on, I was a FIANCEE. I am now a Wife and mother of 4. So technically I will consider myself a NEWLYWED. It has been almost ONE year since our Wedding Day!

Wow how time flies when you are living your life to the fullest. And NO I did not have 4 children within the last year…I have 4 pups! Before we were married, we had Hemi, our weimaraner and Sophie, our pitbull terrier. Now we have added Max, our Boston SharPugPit as well as Thor, our 6 month old Great Dane. They keep us on our toes but are the best dogs ever regardless of how annoying they can be sometime.

(Hemi and Max are in the front! Sophie is in the back.)

Now back to the present, I am sitting at work typing this up because I don’t want to forget about our awesome trip this weekend. This weekend also happened to be the first time we left all 4 pups and went on vacation. Thor, Hemi, and Sophie went to stay with Vicki and Max went to meet a new friend, Dusty at Karens.

We left around 8pm to head to our farm in MO for our 3 day July 4th Weekend. It was raining slightly, but not too bad. We had an adventure within 10 minutes of our trip, because Ry decided I should take Coit to 380. Well once we got onto the unpaved road, there was mud everywhere….He told me to keep going even though it looked like we would get stuck! Well I went through…pretty much off-roading…FUN :)……..until we came upon a man in a big red truck that was backing up. He said we should turn around because there were several cars up ahead that were stuck too! Oh BOY! So I jumped into the back seat and Ry got into the front and we turned back around. He had a good time plowing through the mud…that wasted about 30 minutes of our trip..haha….but it was still funny! I can’t believe I was able to go through that mud without getting us stuck! Amazing!

Anyhow, we ended up driving from 8pm-5 in the morning. I drove first, then Kora drove, then Ry got us there safe and sound…although I will question a couple of times he was driving cause it was so late. Up in MO, Ry’s Duncan fam has land where we go to camp and hang out. We call it a farm even though there aren’t any animals. It is so peaceful and serene. You get to see stars in the sky that are hidden from the city lights.

The first thing we did when we got there was crashed! It was so late…or should I say early! ๐Ÿ™‚ After we woke up, Ry and I drove the big Red Tractor to cut down some long grass. I also made a fire…Pork Steaks on the open fire are soooo delicious! We did lots of other things.

(Our awesome Fire)

I shot my first rifle or gun or whatever you wanna call it. It was long and heavy and hurt like heck! I didn’t even hit a target…I sucked that badly. lol. I will practice for sure. We also rode on the MULE…it’s a faster version of a golf cart to me. haha.

(Ry on the Mule.)

(Us on the bluff on the farm)

We worked up a sweat and then went to jump in the cold river. It felt nice! On the 4th of July, we went into town and saw Fireworks. It was Mountain View’s 150th Anniversary, which was cool. We also bought a crap load of fireworks for $37! That is amazing to me!

We had so much fun popping them. One got Kora in the shoulder, I sat on a piece of one when we threw it in the fire and it burned a hole in my pants! Chris almost got hit by some flames too! All in all, we ended up alive and it was a great time. It has been years since I have popped my own fireworks. Can’t be doing that in the city!

The weekend went by quick and it sucked that we had to leave so early on Monday to get Chris home for his test, but I still had fun! Ry is now planning on moving us there one day. I dunno…we will have to see. Hope everyone else had a great 4th of July!!! Wow how time flies! We have 5 more months until 2011!!!
